Dr. Gail Kearney
Dr. Gail Kearney (owner) graduated from College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia in 1991. Dr. Kearney joined Ansley in 1994. In 2003, she was named Practice Manager of the clinic and then became owner in 2008. Dr. Kearney enjoys life in Decatur with her husband, Chris, and their two children, Shane and Katie. They also have four dogs named Bauer, Snickers, Lucille and Ginny, and a few beloved backyard chickens. Dr. Kearney enjoys gardening, fishing, kayaking, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Joanie (Brower) Myracle
Dr. Joanie (Brower) Myracle graduated from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She joined Ansley Animal Clinic soon after and has been a part of the practice ever since. Dr Myracle’s professional interests include small animal dentistry, surgery, and cytology. She lives in Decatur with her husband, Eric, and two sons, Jack and Matthew. They have two dogs (Abigail and Lulu) and two cats (Parker and Simba Cheeto).
Dr. Elizabeth Wood
Dr. Elizabeth Wood received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2004. Afterwards, she completed a one year internship in surgery, internal medicine and emergency medicine at Georgia Veterinary Specialists (GVS). She then practiced for five years in Sandy Springs before joining Ansley Animal Clinic in 2010. Her primary interests include dentistry, feline medicine, and preventative medicine. She and her husband, Patrick, live in Midtown with their two young children, Evelyn and Henry, and their black lab, Shadow.
Dr. Kimberly Fireman
Dr. Kimberly Fireman received her degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Prior to that she received a B.A. from the University of Georgia and attended Hunter College in New York City. She joined Ansley Animal Clinic shortly after graduating, and has special interests in geriatric and feline medicine, dermatology and internal medicine. She enjoys cooking, dining, traveling and spending time with family. Dr. Fireman lives in Morningside with her husband, her two boys and their cat, Gracie.
Dr. Stephen Spook
Dr. Stephen Spook graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida in 2012 and joined Ansley Animal Clinic shortly thereafter. His medical interests include internal medicine, nutrition and dermatology. Dr. Spook loves fishing, hiking, and college football. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Emily, daughter Hanna, and their Golden Retriever, Jackson.
Dr. Bob Steen
Dr. Bob Steen graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia in 2010. After graduating from UGA, he completed a small animal rotating internship in Los Angeles, CA and practiced in Manhattan Beach, CA. Dr. Steen moved back to Atlanta, GA in 2014 where he practiced veterinary medicine before joining Ansley in August 2015. Dr. Steen’s medical interests include internal medicine, ultrasound and neurology. His hobbies include travel, golf, hiking, and spending time with family. Dr. Steen lives in Atlanta with his wife Ellyn, also a veterinarian, and their daughter Rose.
Dr. Anna Morocco
Dr. Anna Morocco received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2018 and joined Ansley Animal Clinic that same year. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the Georgia Institute of Technology before attending veterinary school. Her primary professional interests include dentistry, neurology and surgery. She lives in Virginia Highlands with her Golden Retriever, Sunny.
Dr. Lauren Silliman
Dr. Lauren Silliman graduated from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2018 and joined Ansley Animal Clinic shortly thereafter. She also attended the University of Florida for undergrad where she majored in biology and minored in art history. Dr. Silliman’s professional interests include dermatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and clinical pathology. She lives in midtown with her boyfriend, Ryan, and their dog, Bear. Dr. Silliman enjoys baking, hiking with Bear, and watching Gator football.
